Position Summary:

The Logistics Assistant responsibility is to assist the Inventory/Inbound/Outbound Executive on inventory management, Inbound operation, outbound operation, MDN/POSM and order processing tasks in line with the agreed SOPs and organizational/inventory policy.


You will play an important role to:

1. Assist on the day-to-day tasks of all logistics matters with reference to Inbound and outbound operations which cover local &export deliveries, Import containers, POSM management and other value-added activities (re-packing).


2. Ensure the physical and system inventory accuracy is at the highest acceptable level at all times.


3. Perform daily reconciliation for Inbound and Outbound transactions for finished goods/POSM/MDN and ensure it is timely and accurately updated in both ERP and WMS.


4. Timely and accurately perform transaction posting of inventory in ERP and WMS for all stock movements within Logistics areas.

  • Stock adjustment.
  • Inbound and Outbound documents in ERP.
  • Inter location/plant stock transfers.


5. Assist on stock count activity for FG warehouses and Depots.


6. Assist the superior to provide reports on inventory matters.

  • Inbound and Outbound Transaction matching report ERP vs WMS..
  • Storage Location Matching report ERP vs WMS.
  • Stock In In-transit report.
  • Sales and Transfer Order status report.
  • Inventory Aging report.
  • Stock Count Summary and Reconciliation report.
  • Any inventory related reports as and when required.


7. Assist to identify the necessary changes to the day-to-day operations processes in order to increase inventory accuracy and to improve the overall effectiveness of Logistics operations.


8. Assist, execute or lead the inventory management related projects or initiatives.


9. Perform administration and office support activities.


10. Other duties as assigned.


To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least a Diploma qualification or equivalent.
  • Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG Warehousing / Inventory Management.
  • Have at least 2 years cumulative experience working in Warehousing or Logistics.
  • Working knowledge of any integrated ERP/ MRP/ WMS system.
  • Proficient in spoken and written in Bahasa and English.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
  • Organized, process-orientated and the ability to work independently.
  • Analytical and problem solving.
