Summary

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely put away of materials. The Receiving Coordinator handles daily operations and related issues per standard operation procedures and department guidelines. The ultimate goal is to ensure daily targets are achieved and all receiving processes run smoothly and promptly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receives materials and verifies correctness of shipments against documentation
  • Ensure all incoming shipment records are timely recorded in SAP, MES and GR files in the department share folder
  • Able to resolve shipment related issues independently or contact shipper regarding any issues
  • Lab coat management, replacement and in/out barcode scanning
  • Replenishment of daily lab supplies
  • Provide support to supervisor and coworkers to achieve department goals
  • Report incidents to supervisor/manager immediately when it occurs
  • Any other duties as required to enable us to achieve our target

Qualifications

    • Minimum of High school Diploma or GED is required, Associates’ or Bachelor’s in Logistics related degree preferred
    • Warehouse related experience and inventory experience is preferred
    • Software/ Hardware Knowledge: Basic computer operating skills and use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required.
    • Stocking, loading, shipping and receiving experience preferred
    • Detail oriented, self-initiated, willingness to learn, a team player, ability to adapt to change, strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Able to load/unload pallet from truck and/or deliver to AOI other building site
  • Must be able to lift up 50 pounds
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; Mandarin Chinese a plus
Other

  • Considerable physical activity – handling of objects that can weigh up to 40 pounds
  • May be required to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Flexible to meet customer demands and production line needs
  • Ability to work overtime as needed during the work week and some weekends
  • OSHA Approved Forklift Certification is a plus
