J&T Express is a leading global logistics and express delivery company operating across Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe. As we continue to expand our operations in Germany, we are looking for experienced Operations Supervisors to support and drive operational excellence across our sorting center network in Karlsfeld.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Operations Team Leaders and operational employees.
• Oversee daily sorting center operations to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service targets are achieved.
• Monitor operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Coordinate workforce planning, shift management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of operational best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety standards.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and support timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to optimize end-to-end operational performance.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular performance updates to management.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management activities within the operations team.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in logistics, parcel delivery, warehousing, transportation, supply chain, or a similar operational environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing Team Leaders or larger operational teams.
• Strong understanding of sorting center, hub, distribution center, or last-mile operations.
• Experience working with operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Mandarin proficiency required.
• German and/or English language skills are considered an advantage.
