THOMAS Freight is seeking an experienced Customs Entry Clerk to join a growing team supporting operations across the JFK and EWR gateways.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customs professional who enjoys managing the end-to-end entry process and wants to be part of a fast-paced, customer-focused freight forwarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process A-Z Customs Entries across a variety of commodities.
• Prepare and submit customs documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and client requirements.
• Liaise with Customs authorities, carriers, customers, and internal teams.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve customs clearance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and support audit and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of Customs Brokerage experience working for a Customs Broker or Freight Forwarder.
• Experience handling Customs Entries from A to Z.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Customs procedures and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
