Logistics Coordinator

Note: Experience in a freight forwarding company is required to apply for this role.

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of client shipments in alignment with international standards, regulatory compliance, and organizational ethical guidelines. This role ensures flawless operational delivery, proactive customer communication, and optimal vendor coordination.

Functional & Technical Expertise

• Freight Forwarding Knowledge: Strong operational experience in import/export forwarding processes.
• Customs Compliance: In-depth understanding of international import/export customs procedures and documentation.
• Hazardous Materials Awareness: Familiarity with IMDG/IMCO dangerous goods regulations is highly advantageous.
• Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Professional Experience & Education

• Experience: 3+ years of direct experience in international logistics operations, freight forwarding, and regulatory documentation.
• Education: Degree or formal qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade preferred.

Operational Execution & Order Management

• Manage the complete end-to-end lifecycle of transport orders, including plausibility checks, booking, routing, and transit tracking.
• Execute flawless customs clearance procedures (import/export) and compile complete shipment documentation.
• Handle financial processing, including invoice issuance, auditing freight bills, and processing vendor payments.

Client Relations & Service Quality

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing real-time shipment updates via email, phone, and automated data integration.
• Drive operational troubleshooting to resolve issues and minimize delays.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting non-conformances and implementing corrective actions when needed.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

• Collaborate with vetted logistics service providers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to agreed service levels and commercial terms.
