You will be part of our Business Development team, adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Growth, Customer + Product Excellence.
You will focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation of customers through high levels of service quality + close collaboration with our Customer Care Locations (CCL).
You will steer + leverage the capabilities of your direct team, sales channels + our network.
How you create impact
- To develop strategies + plans for assigned products (E.g. reefer, international supply chain, commodities, etc.) to generate revenue + increase client base.
- To conduct market research on various business opportunities + create proposals, ensuring correct pricing + solutions are available.
- To lead + drive the development of new business, while growing existing accounts to their full potential.
- To own, monitor + drive all sales activities of customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.
- To provide support during sales calls + create customer-specific value propositions.
- To provide up-to-date market + pricing information to stakeholders, setting pricing bands in line with local conditions + yield targets.
- 3–5 years of experience in Sea Logistics / Freight Forwarding with strong trade lane and commercial experience.
- Proven experience managing and developing Vietnam–China sea freight business and cross-border logistics solutions.
- Strong business development and hunting skills with experience acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts.
- Strong understanding of ocean freight operations, pricing, market trends, carrier management, and customer solutions.
- Experience working with China teams/customers; Chinese language capability is highly preferred.
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.
- Experience managing customers across industries such as electronics, automotive, manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods is an advantage.
- Ability to develop trade strategies, drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver profitable logistics solutions.
- Experience supporting pricing strategies, tenders/RFQs, and commercial negotiations is preferred.
- Strong team player with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills.
