About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Regional Transportation Manager to lead end‑to‑end transportation operations across Asia. This role focuses on ensuring on‑time, in‑full shipment performance, driving cost efficiency, strengthening partnerships with logistics providers, and supporting procurement and sourcing initiatives across the region
.You will partner closely with plants—primarily in Vietnam and other Asia DSS sites—to optimize transportation processes, enhance visibility, and elevate service performance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) execution for all assigned plants and proactively resolve shipment issues or escalations.
Identify, lead, and implement cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements, with clear reporting of results.
Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and local freight forwarders and transport carriers; conduct monthly performance reviews.
Support rollout of Procurement initiatives, including annual cost reduction targets.
Support contract logistics and local trucking sourcing activities across Asia.
Collaborate with cross‑regional teams to ensure consistent transportation standards and best practice sharing.
Scope of Work
Additional support: DSS plants across Asia
Qualifications Required bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related fields.10+ years of experience in supply chain operations. Minimum 5 years in transportation management. At least 3 years handling cross‑regional operations or projects.
Strong expertise in transportation lead‑time management and process analytics.
Preferred Experience working with global or multi‑regional teams. Proven ability to manage large‑scale projects.
Knowledge of SAP and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Experience in a freight forwarding environment.
Good understanding of freight market dynamics.
Direct experience in forwarder or carrier management.
Skills & Abilities
Required Fluent in business English.
Able to communicate in Mandarin
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present moderately complex topics clearly.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, sites, and geographies.
