Requirements

We are looking for Barge Master that can check most of the boxes below.

• A valid Master Mariner or Chief Mate Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2).
• Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) as a Barge Master or in a similar senior offshore marine supervisory role, preferably on heavy lift or construction barges.
• Proven experience in anchor handling, mooring operations, and offshore construction support.
• Thorough knowledge of international maritime regulations, safety management systems, and offshore industry best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse crew effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Valid offshore medical certificate and all relevant STCW training.
• Familiarity with operations in the Guyana region or similar challenging offshore environments is a plus.
