SAP WM Consultant
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced support for SAP Logistics& Operations
- Drive issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into IT solutions
- Ensure system stability, performance, and proper documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams for end-to-end process alignment
- Support testing cycles, upgrades, and change requests
- Train key users and provide knowledge transfer
- Professional experience supporting SAP logistics modules (WM/EWM, LE) in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end logistics, warehouse, production, and quality processes.
- Experience in global ERP template support and process harmonization.
- Experience providing Second Level Support in an IT operations environment, including: analyzing and resolving complex functional/logistics issues escalated from First Level Support; performing detailed root‑cause analysis (functional + interface + data); coordinating fixes with integration teams, SAP teams, and external vendors; ensuring clear and structured communication back to support teams and business users.
- Experience handling 3rd‑party logistics integrations (3PL systems, labeling solutions, scanners/RF/mobile devices).
- Knowledge of labeling standards and understanding of packaging hierarchy.
- Ability to work in a structured support environment (SLA-driven, ticket-based, priority handling).
- Ability to document solutions, known errors, work instructions, and configuration impacts for global support teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to diagnose cross-module issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global logistics, warehouse, production, procurement, and quality teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experience with Handling Unit Management (HUM) including packaging, palletization, packing instructions, handling unit labels, and warehouse execution with HUs.
- Hands‑on experience with warehouse and shop‑floor technologies (barcode scanners, RF devices, mobile applications, label printers).
- Basic knowledge of PP,QM,PM modules.
