Goods Inwards Operative

We are currently seeking dynamic candidates for our busy Goods Inwards team.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and dispatching goods in our busy Goods Inwards department.
• Checking goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages.
• Moving goods to relevant departments using pallet trucks and roll cages.
• Notifying relevant departments via delivery note of any short shipments
• Movement of stock from Goods Inward area to warehouse.
• Packing and putting away stock.
• Ensuring the back dock is kept clear, free of rubbish and well maintained.
• Other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

The Person

• Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable.
• Previous experience in a warehouse and/or delivery environment.
• Able to perform a physical and fast-paced role.
• Detail-oriented and able to spot errors and shortages.
• Ability to communicate well with and work harmoniously with fellow colleagues and management team.
