About the Position

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Department Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supply Chain Management, Shipping & Logistics, Freight Management, and Letter of Credit (LC) Documentation, with excellent follow-up and coordination skills to support our commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and monitor import/export shipping activities and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents.
• Manage freight bookings and shipment tracking to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on Letter of Credit (LC) documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and shipping requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Finance, Procurement, and Warehouse.
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve logistics-related issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of commercial transactions and shipping documents.
• Follow up with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of orders.
• Assist in preparing commercial reports and operational analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial operations, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Letter of Credit (LC) processing and trade finance documentation.
• Familiarity with freight management and customs clearance procedures.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
