Onsite Operations Helper

Support smooth and safe execution of operations by assisting the Operator and maintaining workflow efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & RESULT AREAS

Key Result Areas:

• Supporting the safe and efficient filling of materials for RSA-TALKE in line with customer and business requirements, while following instructions and guidance from team leaders.
• Ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory and internal business standards.
• Actively contributing to the minimization of environmental impact across all RSA TALKE operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the pre-loading checks, including verification of valves, seals, labels, and overall equipment integrity.
• Assisting safe hose connections and disconnections in accordance with operational procedures.
• Checking proper grounding and bonding prior to and during operations.
• Monitor and supervise product transfer, including pressure, flow rates, and any abnormal behaviour.
• Identify and respond promptly to minor leaks or operational irregularities.
• Complete post-operation securing, including closing valves, sealing lids, and finalizing documentation.
• Strictly follow permit-to-work systems and HSE procedures at all times.
• Guide truck and reach stacker drivers for correct positioning of trailers within the facility, where licensed.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of all equipment before and after use.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the assigned operational area.
• Report equipment defects and support monitoring of corrective actions until resolution.
• Labelling line with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Assist with minor maintenance activities on operational equipment.

Other activities:

• Provide support to maintenance team.

HSSEQ

• Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use special personal protective equipment (PPE) as required when performing cleaning or maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately and consistently.
