Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Specialist to manage the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of goods for our clients. This is a hands-on, physically active role that involves coordinating global shipments, maintaining documentation, managing inventory, and supporting facility operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Shipping & Coordination:
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with ASC offices, warehouses, and freight vendors worldwide.
  • Obtain and compare freight quotes to secure cost-effective and timely shipping solutions.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth logistics processes.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Collect, verify, and maintain all shipping documents (bills of lading, customs forms, test reports, etc.).
  • Resolve discrepancies related to test reports, customs codes (HS, country, date codes), and shipping delays.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Inventory & Order Management:
  • Oversee inventory tracking, updating logs, and maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks/ERP systems.
  • Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments, verify contents, and manage repackaging when necessary.
  • Monitor order statuses and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
  • Facility & Operational Support:
  • Assist with facility maintenance tasks (e.g., organizing storage areas, minor repairs).
  • Lift, move, and transport heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) as part of daily duties.
  • Support office administration tasks (filing, data entry, etc.) when required.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Experience: 1+ years in logistics, shipping, supply chain, administration, or facility maintenance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, ERP systems, or inventory management software preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and remain active (standing, walking, etc.) for extended periods.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-Oriented: Must ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance.


Work Environment:


  • Active role: Combination of warehouse (lifting/moving) and office (documentation/data entry) tasks.
  • Team collaboration: Regular interaction with global teams, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Schedule: Full-time. Monday to Friday - 8:30AM to 5:30PM.
