Customs Classification Specialist

Basic Functions

• Classify imported and exported goods according to customs tariff codes

• Review shipment documents and verify compliance requirements

• Coordinate with customs clearance team for smooth processing

• Ensure accurate product classification to avoid customs delays

Duties & Responsibilities

• Determine correct HS Code classification for products

• Review invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents

• Ensure compliance with Saudi customs regulations and requirements

• Coordinate with operations team on customs declarations

• Resolve classification discrepancies and documentation issues

• Keep updated with customs regulations and tariff changes

Professional Experience

• 3+ years experience in customs clearance or goods classification

• Strong understanding of Saudi customs regulations and HS Codes

• Experience dealing with FASAH platform and customs documentation

• Background in freight forwarding or customs brokerage preferred

Skills & Attributes

• Strong knowledge of customs tariff classification

• Attention to detail and high accuracy

• Good understanding of import/export procedures

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
