Role Summary
The role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, inspection, and handling of vehicles within storage compounds and loading areas. This includes carrying out vehicle checks on arrival and dispatch, completing stock audits, and ensuring compounds are maintained to a high standard.
The successful candidate will handle the movement of a high volume of vehicles—typically 60 or more per day—between designated areas, ensuring accuracy, care, and adherence to safety procedures. They will support the wider operations team in maintaining an organised, efficient, and compliant vehicle flow process.
The role requires a full driving licence, flexibility to work shifts (including evenings and up to six days per week), and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A positive attitude, reliability, and comfort driving both cars and light commercial vehicles are essential.
