Shipping Coordinator/Truck Loader

The schedule for this position in Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
How you'll contribute to our company:
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy
- Ensure complete shipments, oldest items first
- Check and match tags to bills before bills are signed
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials
- Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to transport material
- Communicate with sales, customers, truck drivers, and supervisor to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, late delivery, or nonconformance to specifications
- Assist scale operator when needed
- Clean and maintain housekeeping of shipping office

- Ability to read and understand material tags and production instructions
- Ability to accurately use tape measures, micrometers, and calipers

- Ability to routinely bend and squat

- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
