Reporting to the Stores Leading Hand as part of the Business Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, coordinating deliveries and collections, and ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed. Working closely with a range of internal stakeholders, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient delivery of business activities in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Accurately pick, pack and process Sales Orders, Work Orders and Transfer Orders, ensuring customer requirements are met within agreed timescales.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantity, quality and condition against purchase orders, processing transactions within company systems, completing associated documentation, and ensuring materials are correctly labelled and stored.
- Support inventory control activities by locating and storing materials in designated stock locations, maintaining accurate records within the ERP system, and ensuring stock is appropriately packaged and stored.
- Carry out stock cycle counts, reconcile physical inventory with system records, and investigate any discrepancies to maintain stock accuracy.
- Use company vehicles to undertake internal and external deliveries, supplier collections and other logistics-related activities, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Operate a range of materials handling and storage equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks (where licensed and authorised), in accordance with safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across stores, warehouse and yard areas, and take responsibility for daily site security and lock-up procedures.
- Demonstrated experience using a warehouse/inventory management system for receipt and dispatch of inventory.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dangerous goods packaging experience (Desirable)
- Domestic and overseas exports experience (Desirable)
- Half day Fridays & every 2nd Friday off
