Materials Handler - 1st shift

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Transport products and materials throughout the facility manually and by using forklifts, overhead lifts/cranes, and push carts.
- Maintain accurate records of all parts and materials moving to and from storage locations.
- Count, weigh, and record quantities of materials and products handled.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Load customer orders onto trailers according to specifications and shipping requirements while completing required documentation.
- Unload, move, stack, stage, and organize products and materials by hand and with powered equipment.
- Maintain inventory and material movement records in accordance with established procedures.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities including reaching, stretching, bending, twisting, and carrying objects throughout the workday.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification written exam and driving demonstration.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in any field.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, shipping, receiving, or material handling operations.
- Prior forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial vehicles.
- Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, or warehouse management systems.
- Experience working with shipping documentation and material tracking processes.
