Operator - South Hill

Responsible for the safe, efficient and quality-conscious

unloading and loading of bulk products to or from

vessels, tanks, railcars, and trucks. Assure the work

being performed consistently meets or exceeds the

expectations of the supervisor, as well as published

policies and procedures

What You Will Do

• A position assigned specific duties under periodic supervision by the supervisor. May be assigned to general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals. Extensive training in railcar, truck, warehousing, vessel operations, safety and environmental training as required.
• The safe and efficient transfer of bulk products to or from vessels, tanks, railcars and trucks.
• General inspection and monitoring conveyors and related equipment operation. Reporting to supervisor of equipment abnormalities of failures.
• Housekeeping and general maintenance as required.
• Upkeep of assigned equipment or tools.
• Perform any other type of terminal function as trained and as instructed by the supervisor.
• Requires work in all types of weather conditions
• Must be available to work all shifts and weekends including 12 hours shifts

GED or High School

Ability to stand for long hours

Ability to follow instructions

Strong Communication skills

Pay Range

USD $28.91 - USD $32.65 /Hr.
