AFR Customer & Ops Specialist

DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for AFR Customer & Ops Specialist in Morocco. In this role, you will, provide day-to-day administrative support with readily available advice for AFR Ops/CS processes and activities to deliver flow of goods and information across the customer’s global supply chain utilizing air transportation, maximizing profitability and optimizing utilization of business and human assets in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this AFR Customer & Ops Specialist position

• You will, under direct or close supervision, support the delivery of air freight forwarding processes and activities for internal and external customers.
• You will perform assigned tasks of a generally repetitive nature to support other team members, such as gathering operational requirements, arranging customer visits, and responding to tariff queries.
• You will undertake routine tasks, including research, data processing, data validation, and documentation.
• You will, under guidance, gather input for the Freight Control Center and collect details, information, and instructions for the operations team.
• You will perform tasks to support the determination of freight rates for incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• You will gather and provide information for customer visits to maintain strong business relationships with existing clients and enhance customer retention.
• You will record information and data related to shipping tenders.
• You will enter data, share information, and support shipment documentation for freight forwarding activities.
• You will collate data and prepare reports and updates on account performance to support other team members.
• You will follow defined processes, systems, and methodologies to ensure the effective delivery of assigned tasks.
• You will review recurring routine issues encountered during service delivery and escalate them to your supervisor for guidance when required.

In area of AFR product:

• You will create or confirm transport orders, perform bookings, and optimize booking.
• You will prepare, review, and distribute all required import and export documentation.
• You will identify supplier performance issues and propose solutions to improve service performance and operational efficiency.
• You will update customs shipment information and physical status records and resolve customer issues and incidents in a timely manner
