Scope of Role
- Monitoring inbound and outbound traffic
- Communicate logistical delays, early arrivals and damage in an honest manner to the onsite customer.
Dotted Reporting line: Head of Community Implants
Direct Line Reports: N/A
Days & Hours of Work: 5 over 2 Shift Pattern 7a.m – 7p.m on a rostered basis.

- As we are based on the customer’s premises, customer relations & compliance is our number one focus.
- Read, understand & adhere to the customer’s Service Level Agreements, Service Level Guidelines & Standard Operating Procedures.
- Comply with all requirements pertaining to the customer’s safety/security.
- Working in High Value Inventory/Known shipper environment with the highest security standards.
- Participating in the customer’s safety programs including Good Catch & attending safety meetings including Dock Safety & Powered Industrial Trucks teams.
- Supporting Ireland Logistics with Lean & cost saving initiatives.
- Maintaining reports for the customer as requested including Key Performance Indicator carrier reports.
- Monitoring of all traffic inbound and outbound through Traffic Management Reports to Proof of Delivery.
- Capital Support Items & Capital Logistic Support Service support.
- Communicate with Manufacturing Planning Controls team/Test Wafer Group via the PROSPAL & reticle tracker to ensure full factory optimisation.
- Communicate any delays, early arrivals or damages to the customer in a timely manner.
- Follow up with suppliers for After Action Reviews.
- Micromanage the customers Next Flight Out shipments (CNW & Time Matters) inbound & outbound.
- Work with supplier, customs & vendors to overcome any delays.
- Arrange transport for inbound shipments.
- Arrange trade show collections to & from destination.
- Gatekeeper for e-parts on all critical shipments.
- Attend & participate in meetings including, the materials meeting & Ops.
- Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, and all requirements under Data Protection Legislation in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme.
- Participate in the implementation of operational processes and perform work to the standards of Good Distribution practice (GDP) for Life Science business, as required.

- 2 years’ experience in a customer facing logistics role.
- Leaving certificate
- Great all round Microsoft office skills
