TITANICOM is hiring an experienced Asset Engineer to support international data center operations and large-scale IT infrastructure projects across Europe.
This is a mid-level position responsible for independently managing day-to-day IDC asset operations, inventory accuracy, warehouse processes, and the full lifecycle of IT equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Independently manage daily IDC asset operations and warehouse processes, including receiving, inbound/outbound registration, inventory control, deployment, return, transfer, and decommissioning.
- Manage the full lifecycle of data center IT assets and ensure asset records are complete, accurate, and traceable.
- Perform regular inventory checks and audits to ensure the accuracy of asset SN, model, quantity, location, and status.
- Operate asset management systems and ticketing/work-order platforms according to established SOP and SLA requirements.
- Coordinate with IT, logistics, project, and onsite teams to support equipment delivery, deployment, transfer, and project handover.
- Identify and resolve asset discrepancies, process gaps, and operational risks, and provide recommendations for process improvement.
- Support project planning, progress tracking, risk control, and operational coordination for asset-related projects.
- Ensure compliance with data center security, asset security, and environmental management standards.
- Support the management of servers, switches, optical modules, fibers, cables, spare parts, and other data center equipment.
- Provide guidance and operational support to junior team members when required.
Requirements
- Chinese language proficiency is mandatory for communication with Chinese-speaking teams.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in data centers, IT asset management, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with asset inbound/outbound processes, inventory counting, stock control, and asset lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with asset management systems, WMS/ERP, ticketing systems, or work-order platforms.
- Good understanding of common data center equipment, such as servers, switches, optical modules, fibers, cables, and related components.
- Experience working in a data center / IDC environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage operational tasks, identify problems, and coordinate resolution.
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, execution ability, and teamwork.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Working proficiency in English or German is preferred.
