As a Logistic Associate II with PCB Piezotronics, Inc.,you will under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, perform the logistics processes of the company to ensure the timely shipping and receiving of goods and materials.
Additional Duties
- Able to perform at least two of the following responsibilities at a competent level:
- Quality and accuracy of outgoing shipments to ensure customer satisfaction. Follows established methods and procedures for Pick/Pack/Shipping. Compliance to shipping standards including accurate and thorough customs paperwork, special customer document(s). Contacts freight carriers as needed to arrange pickups.
- Quality and accuracy of incoming shipments to ensure customer/vendor satisfaction. Follows established methods and procedures for receiving.
- Efficient flow of finished product into the group including accurate inventory transactions. Receive Transfer Orders from different facilities into appropriate locations either into Logistics or elsewhere. Follows established methods and procedures for inventory.
- Prepares manuals for all standard and special products.
- Contacts Customer Service Representative(s) or other departments to inform them of product flaws or errors in paperwork.
- Performs clerical work such as photocopying, emailing, faxing, data entry, filing, etc.
- Notifies supervision of any shortage of supplies.
- Assists Logistics Coordinator and/or Logistics Manager with training other Logistics Associates.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
- Education: High school or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations
This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.
- 730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
