Logistics Director (m/f/d)

A leading company operating in the logistics and transportation sector is looking to recruit a Logistics Director to lead and develop its logistics operations.

Location: Lisbon or Porto, with availability to travel according to business needs.

Your new role

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse and logistics operations, leading teams, driving operational efficiency, supporting business development initiatives and designing logistics solutions tailored to customer needs.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a senior Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management role (logistics, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, retail, 3PL);
• Strong background in warehouse management, inventory control and logistics operations;
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing operational teams;
• Ability to design and implement logistics solutions while balancing service, cost and efficiency;
• Strong analytical mindset, with experience monitoring operational and financial KPIs;
• Commercial awareness and ability to support customer visits, solution design and proposal development;
• Excellent problem-solving skills, agility and customer-oriented mindset;
• Portuguese speaker with fluency in English.
