- Conduct pre‑operational inspections on cranes and mobile equipment
- Operate remote overhead cranes, band saws, Hilti grinders, oxygen lances, SpectroTest/XRF units, computer systems, and additional equipment as required
- Ensure accurate material identification throughout the entire process
- Inspect, identify, and stencil customer material according to EQS standards
- Load cold shipments into trucks and railcars per Manufacturing Instructions and Operating Procedures
- Communicate effectively and assist Shipping team members as needed
- Comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and work rules
- Collaborate positively with coworkers and meet attendance expectations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of shipping experience preferred
- Certification in remote crane operation preferred
- Theoretical Steelmaking Course (80%+ score preferred)
- Spectrometer Training
- Minimum of 80 hours of crane‑operation experience
- Successful completion of the EQS Crane Training Program
