Shipping Coordinator

This position will coordinate approximately 15–35 shipments per day, including small parcel and LTL shipments, as well as domestic and international shipments to Canada and Mexico. The ideal candidate will have strong shipping and logistics experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all required shipping documentation
- Arrange carrier and customer pickups
- Verify shipping labels and maintain accurate shipping records
- Assist customers with pre-shipment and post-shipment needs
- Address and resolve carrier concerns
- Unload and accept incoming deliveries
- Submit and ensure payment of carrier claims when applicable
- Process and coordinate approximately 15–35 shipments per day, including 15–20 small parcel and LTL shipments
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including shipments to Canada and Mexico
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with international shipping documentation and processes for Canada and Mexico required
- Experience shipping products to Canada and Mexico required
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective time management skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions

- Valid driver's license required
- Must maintain a current passport
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Willingness to participate in continuous education and training opportunities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Frequently move throughout office and warehouse areas
- Ability to remain stationary for periods while completing work and attending meetings
- Occasionally move product components and hand tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate regularly with employees and customers
- Must have close vision and the ability to adjust focus

- Manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
- Noise level is generally quiet to moderate
- Exposure to conditions commonly associated with a manufacturing environment
