How You Will Lead
Major Areas of Responsibilities
- To lead team to successfully load finished product to the correct destination.
- To insure team meets ship date expectations and communicates delays, damages or shortages to CS – Management.
- Completes all documentation correctly.
- Completes all required administration paper work and data entry.
- Leads team in keeping all work areas clean and safe.
- To lead team in a manner that ensures all freight prepared (palletized, banded, wrapped), ships on assigned day, loaded to make delivery date and loaded to arrive damage free.
- Route assign local deliveries – transfers and pickups.
- Confirm all personnel on time and ready to contribute.
- Confirm all personnel have proper equipment to complete task safely.
- Schedule all load personnel to prepare shipments, stage freight to assigned area, unload product and meet ship dates.
- Communicate any delays, damage or shortages to the correct personnel.
- Lead/complete Unitized Inventory/Cycle count/report – confirm results with Shipping Manager.
- Keep area clean and safe.
- Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience leading teams in shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing settings
- Strong working knowledge of the Amtech system
- Ability to bill outbound freight and manage documentation
- Proficient in basic PC use and shipping equipment operation
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and work in varied temperature conditions (40°F to 120°F)
