3PL Sourcing

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Cost Reduction & Procurement Strategy (Core Focus)

• Analyze logistics costs across freight, trucking, warehousing, and customs clearance to identify cost drivers and savings opportunities.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs through supplier optimization, volume consolidation, and strategic sourcing.
• Benchmark market pricing, monitor savings initiatives, and ensure competitive sourcing.
• Continuously optimize the supplier portfolio to improve cost efficiency and service performance.

2. Sourcing & Quotation Management.

• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to understand customer requirements and source the most suitable logistics solutions.
• Obtain quotations from qualified suppliers, conduct competitive bidding, and provide pricing recommendations based on cost, service quality, and reliability.

3. Supplier Management.

• Source, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers while maintaining the Preferred Supplier List.
• Build strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, capacity, and service reliability.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when required.
• Maintain supplier records, rate cards, contracts, and performance data.

4. Contract & Commercial Management.

• Negotiate and manage corporate contracts with key suppliers to secure competitive rates and service terms.
• Manage contract renewals and ensure agreements protect the company against market volatility and supplier underperformance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in freight/logistics sourcing, procurement, or 3PL vendor management, with demonstrated ownership of cost-reduction or strategic sourcing initiatives (not solely quotation processing).
• Strong working knowledge of freight, domestic trucking, warehousing, and customs clearance processes and cost structures in Thailand.
• Proven track record of negotiating corporate/contracted rate agreements and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills — comfortable building cost/rate comparisons, savings trackers, and spend analysis in Excel or similar tools.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder communication skills across Sales, Customer Service, and external suppliers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas for supplier visits and qualification.
• Fluent in English.
• Chinese language is a plus.
