Shein is currently looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to join the team in Frankfurt.
Reposbsibilities
- Handling and Escalation of B2B Import Declaration Customs Issues (referring to shipments from non-EU countries to the EU, and from Poland to the UK)
- Assess and categorize customs issues raised by agents. Follow SOP for matters already covered by existing procedures.
- Escalate issues not covered by SOP to the domestic customs team in a timely manner.
- Drive and execute solutions provided by the domestic customs team.
- Handling and Escalation of B2C Import Declaration Customs Issues
- Assess and categorize customs issues raised by customs brokers. Follow SOP for matters already covered by existing procedures.
- Escalate issues not covered by SOP to the domestic customs team in a timely manner.
- Drive and execute solutions provided by the domestic customs team.
- Collect and provide local customs regulations and materials as required by the domestic customs department.
- Arrange communication with local European customs authorities and customs brokers as requested by the domestic customs department, and drive the output and implementation of solutions.
- Provide preemptive warnings and alerts to the domestic customs department based on local European conditions and unexpected issues.
- Summarize and systematize overall European customs operations. Continuously update and improve customs SOPs.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in European cross-border e-commerce customs operations. Proficient in relevant European cross-border e-commerce customs rules and knowledge, with a clear understanding and interpretation of the field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in European traditional general trade customs operations. Proficient in European import customs rules and knowledge, with extensive experience in handling exceptional issues.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify problems and propose reasonable and effective solutions.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills. Capable of coordinating effectively within the team and communicating efficiently with service providers and customs authorities to reach consensus.
- Pragmatic, diligent, and results-oriented work ethic.
