About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Transport Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our Logistics team. If you thrive in the fast-paced world of international transportation, have experience coordinating multimodal shipments, and are confident handling customs and export documentation, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you will be more than an administrator—you will play a key part in keeping our supply chain moving efficiently. You are solution-oriented, comfortable working under pressure, and capable of managing complex transportation processes while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Your Mission

  • Plan, book, and monitor domestic and international shipments across multiple transportation modes, including road, sea, and air freight.
  • Coordinate the movement of goods throughout Europe and manage shipments to neighboring non-EU countries.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain all transportation documentation, including freight documents (e.g., CMR, ADR, IMO) and customs/export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations) for international shipments.
  • Collaborate closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Proactively resolve transportation issues, shipment delays, loading problems, and other operational challenges.
  • Verify freight invoices and support internal and external billing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end transportation activities across road, sea, and air freight.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and compliance of shipping, customs, and export documentation.
  • Monitor shipment status and communicate proactively with logistics partners and customers.
  • Support customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Manage transportation-related issues and implement timely solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Review transportation costs and assist with freight invoice validation and settlement.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in operational transportation, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
  • Solid experience preparing customs and export documentation for international shipments.
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, international trade regulations, customs procedures, and cross-border transportation requirements.
  • Professional proficiency in German and good working knowledge of English.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and solve operational challenges under time pressure.
