As our Network Capability Lead - Parcels, you'll play a critical role in defining how our parcel network evolves to meet changing customer expectations, emerging technologies, and future growth opportunities.
Working across strategy, operations, commercial, technology and finance, you'll help design future operating models, identify capability uplift opportunities, evaluate investment choices, and guide transformation initiatives that strengthen performance across our national network.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
- Designing and implementing future network solutions that improve customer outcomes, operational performance, and long-term network sustainability.
- Developing network strategies, capability roadmaps, and operating model recommendations.
- Using data, insights, forecasting and scenario modelling to evaluate opportunities and solve complex business challenges.
- Partnering with senior leaders across Operations, Commercial, Finance and Technology to influence strategic decision making.
- Leading initiatives that improve network capability, efficiency, productivity and service performance.
- Supporting major investment and transformation programmes that shape NZ Post's future network.
Ideally You'll Bring
- Significant experience designing, optimising or transforming complex operational networks within logistics, supply chain, transport, warehousing, distribution, retail or similarly complex environments.
- Strong strategic and operational problem-solving capability, with the ability to analyse data, develop options and deliver practical recommendations.
- Experience influencing senior leaders and stakeholders, building alignment and driving change across large organisations.
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of the trade-offs between customer outcomes, operational capability and financial performance.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation, operating model redesign or continuous improvement initiatives.
- A track record of translating long-term strategy into measurable operational and business outcomes.
