Customs Entry Writer - Atlanta, GA

We're looking for a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join a well established freight forwarder in Atlanta.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate import customs entries.
• Review shipping documents for compliance with customs regulations.
• Coordinate with Customs, carriers, and customers to ensure timely shipment clearance.
• Classify goods and ensure correct duties and taxes are applied.
• Resolve customs and documentation issues while maintaining excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customs entry or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of import customs procedures and documentation.
• Experience with customs entry systems (e.g., CargoWise).
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
