Key Responsibilities

  • Wooden Container Assembly: Cut, measure, and assemble lumber to build custom wooden crates to exact specifications.
  • Plastic Container Repairs: Repair collapsible, knockdown plastic containers using industry-standard tools and processes.
  • Onsite Container & Rack Repairs: Perform repairs on shipping racks and other containers both onsite and in the shop.
  • Power Tool Operation: Safely and effectively operate various power tools, including drills, sawzalls, skill saws, miter saws, and table saws.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to transport materials; a forklift license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • Experience preferred with forklifts, power tools (drill, hand saw, sawzall, etc), and wood working tools (miter saw, chop saw, table saw).
  • Experience with power tools, including drills, saws, and other common shop tools.
  • Ability to read measurements accurately and follow detailed assembly and repair instructions.
  • Forklift operation experience or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and precision.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted, stand for long periods, and work in a team-oriented environment.

What to Expect

  • Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional opportunities for overtime
  • Occasional out of state / overnight jobs for up to 1 week at a time
  • Overtime Pay: Earn overtime for any hours worked beyond 40 each week
