Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Sea Freight Import Staff to manage import shipments from origin to final delivery. The successful candidate will coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, customs brokers, transport providers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate processing of import shipments while maintaining excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- Open to fresh graduates; experience in customs processing or freight forwarding is an advantage
- At least 1 year of experience in Sea Freight Import, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics Operations is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance procedures, and shipping regulations.
- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Arrival Notices, Delivery Orders, and other import shipping documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-service focused.
- Monitor and coordinate sea freight import shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, customs brokers, trucking providers, and clients regarding shipment status.
- Review and process import shipping documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare arrival notices, billing, and other required documentation.
- Monitor vessel arrivals and shipment schedules.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and cargo release.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide regular shipment updates.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems.
- Resolve shipment issues and coordinate with concerned parties to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by management.
