Reports to

Manufacturing Manager & Office Coordinator

Job purpose Shipping and receiving of finished products, raw materials and other items vital to the day to day operation of the company.

Duties and responsibilities

• Receiving– Receive truck and small parcel shipments and unload merchandise. Check in merchandise and affix receiving labels.
• Fulfillment – Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates. Affix shipping labels on packed cartons identifying shipping information. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Material Handling – Stack merchandise on racks, move material off racks to appropriate location on the shop floor. Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.

· Receiving Inspection – Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.

• Packaging – Move materials off racks and package for shipment. Assemble containers or select pre-assembled containers for shipping of products and raw materials.
• Safety – Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other Duties- Duties, responsibilities, and activates may change at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
• Knowledge of the use and care of various measuring tools
• General experience in this field or duties similar to principal responsibilities.
• Forklift certification is preferred
• Awareness of ISO 9001 is preferred

Working conditions

This job is a Full Time Position Monday thru Thursday 7AM to 5PM.

Physical requirements

Candidate must be able to lift 50lb.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
