Customs & Clearance Officer (UAEN)

Basic Function and Scope

Perform general duties that ensure supplies are received, cleared, and delivered as needed. Coordinating shipment clearance and dispatch, liaising with other team members and functions. Ensuring efficient and cost effective shipment dispatches and clearances. Ensure that all urgent and dispatched as per IATA Dangerous Good Regulations and ERWADA requirements. Coordination and constant communication with procurement officers and customers for dispatches and clearances in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 Years Logistics experience in a support role.
• Must have detailed knowledge of customs clearance documents and military logistics.
• Valid IATA Dangerous Goods Handling License A plus. Knowledge of packing requirements for delicate parts using ATA containers CAT I, II, III, and other packing materials, marking, and labeling
