About VicOne
VicOne is a leader in Physical AI cybersecurity, protecting AI-powered vehicles and robotic systems. Our Data Driven AI Flywheel combines automated vulnerability discovery, AI-generated PoC validation, and real-time Runtime Protection covering the full product lifecycle.
You'll work on real-world attack research, large-scale telemetry data, and a fast-evolving AI toolchain. We're redefining how cybersecurity is done with AI and you'll help build it.
The Role
We are looking for a Physical AI Engineer to own product development for our two core AI-robot cybersecurity products: Radeis (pre-deployment AI security scanning platform) and Rthena (runtime protection for operational robots). This role sits at the intersection of AI/ML, robotics, and cybersecurity, translating research capabilities into production-grade features that help robot manufacturers secure their robots from design through deployment.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end product development for Radeis and Rthena, from requirement gathering to release
- Develop and integrate AI-based security scanning capabilities (LLM red-teaming, adversarial testing, behavior-layer risk scoring, AI SBOM/CBOM, EU AI Act compliance reporting)
- Build and maintain Rthena's runtime protection components: R-SOC dashboard, adaptive defense agent, and AI-model integrity verification
- Bridge research outputs (robot-VLM attack patterns, jailbreak detection, physical-layer threat modeling) into product features
- Design and implement agent-based workflows for automated security assessment pipelines
- Collaborate with the research team to operationalize new attack/defense methodologies
- Work with customers (quadruped/industrial robot OEMs) to validate product fit and gather feedback
What You'll Need
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or related field (BS + equivalent experience accepted)
- 3+ years in AI/ML engineering with hands-on robotics or cyber-physical systems experience
- Deep understanding of LLM/VLM architectures and adversarial robustness
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (SBOM/CBOM, CWE/CVE, threat modeling)
- Experience building production APIs and agent-based systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with robot middleware (ROS/ROS2) and physical AI simulation (Isaac Sim, Gazebo)
- Experience with EU AI Act compliance frameworks
- Edge deployment experience (NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, model optimization)
- Background in physical AI security research or red-teaming
- Experience with multi-agent systems and agentic workflows
Why This Role
You'll be building products at the cutting edge of AI-robot cybersecurity, a category that didn't exist a year ago. Radeis and Rthena are the only products of their kind, backed by VicOne LabR7, and serving real robot OEM customers globally.
