Main Purpose of Job
- Provide technical expertise during robotic application deployment.
- Collaborate with external partners, develop and validate the algorithm for robot arm/humanoid robot/robot dog application.
Job Description
- Interact with external partners and internal team on identifying the right robot requirements for the right applications: from User Requirement Specification to FAT, commissioning, installation and start-up qualification, CAPEX evaluation.
- Collaborate with external partners to undertake robotic software architecture design, functional development & integration, and model fine-tuning (e.g., intelligent positioning & navigation, locomotion, grasping, motion performance, etc.).
- Develop or integrate robotic motion control algorithms (e.g., MoveIt!, Gazebo, MuJoCo) to achieve high-precision motion planning and execution; conduct algorithm simulation and testing using simulation software such as MuJoCo, VREP, Gazebo, and NVIDIA Isaac.
- Support on-site deployment and debugging, troubleshoot technical issues in practical scenarios, and ensure stable system operation.
- Based on needs, deliver technical assistance to the markets on installation of new robot station as well as on reliability issues of current ones.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automation, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in robotics-related development proficient in fundamental robotics knowledge (e.g., kinematics, dynamics, control theory)
- Master one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++).
- Familiar with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Expertise in ROS and related development tools.
- Hands-on experience in developing motion control algorithms, trajectory planning algorithms, SLAM, etc.
- Familiar with advanced algorithms including reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and multimodal learning.
- Capable of algorithm simulation and optimization; proficient in simulation platforms such as Isaac Sim and Gazebo.
- Ability to deploy algorithms to actual robotic systems and conduct debugging.
