About the Project: Character Transfer

Unlike traditional face-swap technology, we're not simply replacing one face with another.

We're building a system that understands the complete visual story of an image — why a moment feels special, what emotion it communicates, what makes the composition powerful, and what must remain unchanged for the image to retain its meaning.

The goal: When a new person enters an existing scene, it should feel as if they were truly there when the photograph was taken.

• Not inserted.
• Not copied.
• Belonging.

Your Mission: You'll help build the creative intelligence behind our Character Transfer Engine, focusing on three key areas:

1. Teach AI to Understand Visual Stories

Every photograph has creative DNA.

You'll help define:

• The story being told
• Its emotional purpose
• The relationship between people and environment
• Visual hierarchy
• What must be preserved
• What can adapt

For example:

• A romantic image isn't simply "two people looking at each other."
• Its real value may be connection, anticipation, vulnerability, intimacy, or trust.
• A travel image isn't simply "someone standing near a landmark."
• It represents discovery, freedom, adventure, achievement, and memory.
• AI needs to understand that difference.

2. Design Scalable AI Creative Systems

We're not looking for someone who can manually perfect one beautiful image.

We need someone who can help build a repeatable creative system capable of delivering excellent results across:

• Thousands of templates
• Millions of users
• Different ages and appearances
• Different body types and cultures
• Different photography styles and conditions

You'll contribute to:

• AI workflow design
• Creative instructions
• Prompt architecture
• Transformation logic
• Quality standards
• Edge-case analysis
• Evaluation frameworks

3. Evaluate AI Results Through a Creative Lens

You'll help define what high-quality AI output actually means.

You'll evaluate whether results preserve:

• Identity — Does the person still feel authentic?
• Story — Do they naturally belong in the scene?
• Emotion — Does their expression and body language fit the moment?
• Physical Reality — Are lighting, shadows, perspective, camera characteristics, skin texture, anatomy, and natural imperfections believable?
• Artistic Value — Does the result feel like a real moment that actually happened?

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a rare combination of creative intelligence, visual expertise, and technical curiosity.

Your background may be in:

1. Photography & Visual Storytelling: Professional, commercial, fashion, or editorial photography; photo editing; art direction; cinematography; or visual storytelling.
2. Advertising, Fashion & Brand Creative: Experience with advertising campaigns, fashion, luxury brands, creative studios, or commercial productions.
3. VFX & Digital Production: Compositing, CGI, motion design, digital production, or large-scale visual production pipelines.
4. AI Creative Technology: Experience with AI image generation/editing workflows, multimodal AI, diffusion models, ComfyUI, advanced prompting, or creative automation.

Important: Pure prompt-writing experience alone isn't enough.

We need people who understand visual intelligence and creative principles.

What Makes Someone Exceptional?

The strongest candidates can think across multiple dimensions:

1. A photographer asks: "Why does this image create emotion?"
2. A filmmaker asks: "What story is happening in this moment?"
3. An art director asks: "What should the audience feel?"
4. A technologist asks: "How can we make this repeatable at scale?"

The ideal candidate combines all four.

This Role Isn't For You If...

This role may not be a fit if your experience is limited to:

• Creating attractive AI images
• Experimenting with prompts
• Manually perfecting individual AI outputs
• Following prompts without understanding visual storytelling

We're looking for someone who can understand creativity, build systems, evaluate results, and help AI learn the principles behind great photography.
