Join TDK AIsight, a TDK Corporation subsidiary building cutting edge AI, semiconductor, and sensor technology. We are seeking a highly motivated Digital FPGA Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, verification, and optimization of FPGA-based digital systems. Knowledge in Matlab/Simulink.
What You’ll Do
· Design and implement digital architectures for FPGA-based systems.
· You would use Matlab/Simulink for systemsimulation.
· Develop RTL code using SystemVerilog.
· Create and maintain FPGA designs and transfer them to an ASIC.
· Conduct simulation, verification, and debugging of FPGA designs.
· Develop automated test environments and verification methodologies.
· Perform timing analysis, resource optimization, and power optimization.
· Integrate FPGA designs with high-speed interfaces, processors, and mixed-signal components.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Contribute to technical documentation and design reviews.
What You Bring
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience in FPGA development.
· Strong knowledge of digital design principles and synchronous design techniques.
· Strong knowledge of Matlab/Simulink.
· Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL.
· Hands-on experience with FPGA toolchains such as:
o Intel Quartus Prime
o Efinix Efinity
· Experience with simulation and verification tools (ModelSim, Questa, Xcelium, or similar).
· Good understanding of timing closure and FPGA implementation flows.
· Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication skills in English.
· Good communication skills in German.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of DSP algorithms and FPGA-based signal processing.
· Familiarity with Python, or Tcl scripting.
· Understanding of embedded software development and processor integration.
