Product Manager - High Speed Imaging Systems

Primary Responsibilities
- Lifecycle ownership of high-speed imaging systems, including camera hardware and control/analysis software
- Actively contribute to camera and imaging system roadmaps, representing core customer needs and targeting the development of market verticals
- Creation and maintenance of detailed user stories grounded in camera workflows, advocating for intuitive, efficient camera operation and workflow‑based UX
- Close collaboration with Project Management to align requirements, milestones and deliverables
- Validation of system behavior through direct use of cameras in lab and field environments to ensure image quality, timing, synchronization and features align with customer use cases
- Gather direct feedback and contribute to R&D’s ideation process
- Support camera and system level product launches by aligning launch schedule with hardware and software readiness.
- Contribute launch materials including training materials, customer messaging and technical communications.
- Hold a degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Optics, Physics, or a closely related engineering discipline)
- Experience with Product Management, Systems Engineering, or a closely related role
- Background in imaging systems (e.g., machine vision, scientific imaging, high‑speed imaging, industrial cameras or similar)
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel periodically to customer locations
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
- Interest in photography, imaging technology and/or scientific instrumentation
- Experience with camera control software, data acquisition, image processing, or analysis tools
- Familiarity with imaging sensors, optics, or embedded systems
- Experience in industrial, scientific, aerospace, automotive, or defense imaging markets
- Experience managing products that include both hardware and software components
- Experience writing clear user stories and requirements for software teams, including the UX/UI design components
- Ability to interface with engineering teams and motivation to work hands-on with cameras, and across disciplines
