Agent Application Engineer (FDE)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and continuously improve Agent applications for finance, healthcare, agriculture, and energy.
• Work on site with customers to understand their processes, data environment, and real pain points, and turn requirements into working Agent products quickly.
• Build prompting, RAG, knowledge base, tool calling, workflow, and multi-agent collaboration capabilities on top of LLMs.
• Integrate customer databases, APIs, enterprise systems, and third-party platforms, covering data processing and system integration.
• Ship demos, PoCs, and MVPs fast, and drive solutions from pilot into production.
• Own testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Agent applications.
• Run requirement discovery, technical discussions, solution design, and on-site implementation directly with customers.
• Translate industry processes into Agent workflows and technical designs.
• Take end-to-end delivery ownership, accountable for project outcomes, system stability, and how customers actually use the product.
• Coordinate customers, internal teams, and partners to close issues and get projects live.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, AI, software engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, AI application development, or enterprise project delivery.
• Strong Python skills with solid engineering and debugging ability.
• Familiar with LLM application development: prompting, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, knowledge bases, and tool calling.
• Familiar with at least one mainstream Agent or LLM application development framework.
• Familiar with REST APIs, databases, message queues, containerized deployment, and Linux.
• Experience with Agent evaluation, log analysis, performance tuning, and security hardening.
• Strong customer communication, requirement analysis, project driving, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Comfortable with on-site customer support and regular travel.
• Professional working proficiency in both Chinese and English.
