We are seeking a hands-on Engineer to design, integrate, and support complex hardware-software platforms for heavy industrial, transit, and infrastructure operations. The role bridges electronics, edge computing, sensor payloads, field deployment, and AI monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate end-to-end systems across electrical, mechanical, embedded, and networking domains.
- Configure custom electronics, PCBs, power systems, and hardware interfaces.
- Integrate optical and sensor packages for automated inspection tools and vision models.
- Write C++ and Python tools for device automation, telemetry, and edge-to-cloud communications.
- Perform cross-domain root-cause diagnostics across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Deploy ruggedized equipment in demanding field, yard, and trackside conditions.
- 5+ years in Systems/Electrical Engineering managing multi-domain hardware/software solutions.
- Degree in EE, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
- Solid background in circuit design, power distribution, and hardware debugging (oscilloscopes/multimeters).
- Working proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
- US work authorization required. Military background or experience with autonomous platforms, optics, and industrial networking is a plus.
