As a Thin Film Measurement Engineer, you will develop and optimise optical measurement techniques, analyse complex data, and support the delivery of high-precision metrology solutions for leading technology customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise thin film measurement methods for advanced manufacturing processes.
• Measure and analyse film thickness, uniformity, and optical properties.
• Improve measurement accuracy through calibration and system optimisation.
• Analyse process capability and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support customer applications, system validation, and technical investigations.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to enhance metrology solutions.

Requirements

• Experience with thin film measurement, optical metrology, or precision measurement systems.
• Knowledge of ellipsometry, spectroscopy, or optical characterisation techniques.
• Background in semiconductor manufacturing, photonics, or high-tech engineering.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with measurement calibration and process optimisation.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools is advantageous.
