Software Engineer (Perception) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Perception, you will develop the systems that allow autonomous platforms to understand and interact with their surroundings. You will be responsible for turning raw sensor data into actionable intelligence, ensuring high-accuracy environment modeling in real-time scenarios.

What You'll Do

• Architect and maintain high-performance perception pipelines for real-time environment understanding.
• Design advanced sensor fusion strategies to integrate data from LiDAR, cameras, and radar.
• Implement and optimize deep learning models for object detection, tracking, and semantic segmentation.
• Develop computer vision algorithms to enhance spatial awareness and situational decision-making.
• Collaborate with autonomy teams to refine the interface between perception outputs and motion planning.
• Ensure the reliability and low-latency performance of perception software in complex autonomous environments.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on perception systems for autonomy.
• Proven expertise in developing real-time perception pipelines for object detection, tracking, and semantic segmentation.
• Proficiency in C++ or Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with sensor fusion technologies including LiDAR, camera, and radar.
• Strong understanding of computer vision principles and their application in autonomous environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
