FPT Telecom is looking for a Network R&D Engineer to join our Infrastructure Development team and work on next-generation access network technologies, AI-driven operations, and large-scale telecom infrastructure.

🔬 WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• R&D & Lab/Field Trials – Research and evaluate new optical transmission technologies, OLT/ONT devices and FTTH components.

• Next-Gen Access Network – Work with FTTH, GPON, XGS-PON and 25G-PON technologies.

• AI & Automation – Apply AI, AI Agents and automation to improve network operations and data-driven decision making.

• Network Data & GIS – Manage and optimize OSP, GIS and network asset data.

• Technical Innovation – Analyze complex network issues and develop practical technical solutions.

• Global Collaboration – Work directly with international vendors and technology partners.

🎯 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of optical transmission, Access Network & ODN.

• Understanding of FTTH/GPON/XGS-PON and OSP networks.

• Strong analytical thinking and an R&D mindset.

• IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent.

• Ability to communicate, present and discuss technical topics in English with international partners.

• Experience with AI, Python/Shell, GIS, Automation or Lab/Field Trials is a plus.
