Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Dev/Research Engineer 3. The work will be done onsite full time in Irving, TX, with an initial two-week training period in Mossville, IL. This is a long-term, 12-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $55/hour + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summar
yThe Dev/Research Engineer 3 will serve as the engineering interface between autonomous hauling application teams and base-machine systems teams, supporting the integration of autonomy hardware and software with heavy-equipment platforms. This role will collaborate across engineering teams to ensure system architecture, software, and hardware requirements are delivered on schedule while supporting development, testing, validation, and field activities. The engineer will also develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot integration issues, and contribute to application software and algorithms for robotic platforms. This position offers significant exposure to autonomous systems, base-machine interfaces, and globally distributed engineering teams
