Job Summary
At WiiGroup, we are transforming the way construction projects are delivered through Digital Delivery, BIM, Reality Capture, and Information Management. We are looking for a BIM Engineer – Reality Capture Digital Delivery to join our Digital Delivery team, supporting large-scale pharmaceutical, life sciences, and hyperscale data centre projects across Denmark and Europe. This role combines laser scanning, Scan-to-BIM, BIM coordination, quality assurance, and digital construction processes. You will be responsible for capturing accurate site information, processing and managing point cloud data, validating construction progress against design models, and producing high-quality BIM deliverables that support project execution and informed decision-making. Working closely with project managers, engineers, planners, subcontractors, consultants, and BIM Managers, you will help improve project quality, reduce rework, and support the successful delivery of complex construction projects. Key Responsibilities
- Perform laser scanning and reality capture activities on active construction sites
- Register, process, and manage point cloud data
- Develop and maintain Scan-to-BIM models
- Compare as-built conditions against design models and identify deviations
- Support BIM coordination, model reviews, and clash detection
- Produce QA/QC reports and digital construction deliverables
- Support construction progress tracking, digital quality control, and construction verification activities
- Manage BIM information and deliverables within Common Data Environments (CDE)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver accurate, coordinated, and timely BIM information
- Maintain BIM standards, project documentation, and Information Management processes
- Identify opportunities to improve Digital Delivery workflows through automation and innovative technologies
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and health and safety standards while working on active construction sites
- 2+ years’ experience within BIM, Digital Engineering, Surveying, Reality Capture, or construction technology environments
- Degree or qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Experience using BIM authoring software
- Experience using model coordination and clash detection software
- Experience with Scan-to-BIM workflows
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Experience with laser scanning and reality capture technologies
- Experience processing, registering, and managing point cloud data
- Experience comparing as-built conditions against design models
- Experience with clash detection and BIM coordination
- Knowledge of IFC, BCF, and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows
- Experience supporting progress tracking, digital quality control, and construction verification
- Experience working on pharmaceutical, life sciences, or hyperscale data centre projects
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures within construction projects
- Understanding of BIM workflows and Information Management principles
- Ability to work effectively within Agile project environments, demonstrating adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently on active construction sites while maintaining health and safety standards
- Strong communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Full driving licence
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 Information Management principles
- Experience developing or using visual programming tools for BIM automation and workflow optimisation
- Experience using business intelligence and digital reporting platforms
- Familiarity with a range of reality capture technologies and point cloud processing workflows
- Experience supporting 4D planning, construction sequencing, or schedule validation workflows
- Knowledge of Lean Construction, Digital Delivery, or Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)methodologies
- Experience working within multidisciplinary international project teams
