teqLink is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join an innovative technology company developing systems-level software for advanced AI imaging technologies.
As a Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of the embedded software platform powering AI-enabled imaging payloads. From Linux platform builds and BSP development to hardware integration and system bring-up, you will help build the foundation for advanced perception systems.
You will join a small, highly skilled engineering team where you will have significant technical ownership, work with cutting-edge AI hardware, and contribute directly to products supporting defence, public safety, and autonomous applications.
Key Responsibilities
You will develop, maintain, and evolve the embedded Linux platform powering the client’s imaging payloads.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a secure embedded Linux platform, including Yocto, BSPs, build systems, and deployment infrastructure.
- Driving platform security through system hardening, secure firmware updates, and network security.
- Collaborating closely with hardware engineers on board bring-up, hardware integration, validation, and test environments.
- Contributing to CUDA, video pipelines, image processing, networking, and general software development where relevant.
- Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance on platform architecture and embedded software development.
What You Bring
We expect you to have an MSc in Engineering or a similar technical background, combined with hands-on experience developing embedded Linux platforms for high-performance or mission-critical systems.
Ideally, you bring experience with:
- Embedded Linux and Yocto
- BSP development, Linux kernel, and device drivers
- Hardware integration and board bring-up
- NVIDIA Jetson, ARM, C++, and Docker
- Mission-critical or security-focused systems
- High-throughput applications such as video, radar, sonar, networking, or similar embedded platforms
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following would be an advantage:
- DevOps and infrastructure
- Drone systems or UAV payloads
- AI hardware and accelerated computing
What You Can Expect
You will join a collaborative, flat organisation where engineering is at the heart of the mission.
You can expect:
- Significant technical ownership and autonomy
- A small, highly skilled engineering team where your contribution matters
- Access to cutting-edge AI and embedded hardware
- The opportunity to influence both the products and the engineering culture
- A technically challenging environment working at the intersection of embedded systems, AI, imaging, and autonomous platforms
About the Company
Our client is a Danish technology start-up based in the Greater Copenhagen area, developing advanced imaging payloads for UAV sensing systems, primarily for the defence sector. Further details about the company will be shared during the recruitment process.
