As an Optical Scatterometry Engineer, you will develop measurement techniques, optimise optical models, and analyse complex diffraction data to improve the accuracy and performance of advanced metrology systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise optical scatterometry measurement techniques.
- Perform optical modelling, simulation, and analysis of diffraction-based measurements.
- Interpret complex measurement data to improve process understanding and system performance.
- Develop and enhance measurement algorithms and modelling approaches.
- Support system optimisation, validation, and technology development activities.
- Collaborate with optics, software, and R&D teams to deliver advanced metrology solutions.
Requirements
- Background in optical physics, photonics, applied physics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with optical scatterometry, diffraction analysis, or optical modelling.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and precision measurement technologies.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar scientific computing tools.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Experience within semiconductor manufacturing or metrology is advantageous.
